We've also put up our Rainbow day's performance on Wednesday 24th Feb.
It was wonderful to see all of you dressed in your home clothes.
A sense of excitement could be felt in the air as everyone was looking forward to watch our first Rainbow day of the year.

I want to say "WELL DONE 3F!" All of you had memorised the song very well and could sing it without looking at the lyrics.

We also had the privilege of having children from School of the Deaf with us. They also performed for the whole school and everyone learnt how to applaud for them using sign language. It was heartwarming to see everyone waving their hands (applauding).

Hi everyone,
I've taken some pictures of you engaged in the activities while in the three stations (iPod Touch, Audacity and E-book) of NHSB room.
It's wonderful to see you having fun and be interested in learning.

Remember! Learning is not all boring. It's lots of fun too!

Comment on these two questions below.

1) What lesson does this story teach you?

2) Do you think the shepherd boy learned his lesson? What do you think he can do now to show people he won't lie anymore.

It's a long weekend for everyone and Chinese New Year for all who are celebrating it.
Everyone were dressed beautifully in their home clothes. Some wore Cheongsam, some wore ethnic costumes, some wore dresses, some wore shirt and pants etc. It was a feast for the eye to see so many different colours and beautiful clothes.

We had a wonderful concert in school on Friday and all the students were very excited.
Performances were put up by our choir, chinese dance, wushu and drama club.
We got to see Valencia, Michelle, Samuel, Audrey, Brenda, Samson and Nicole in some of these performances.
We also sang many Chinese New Year songs.
Yong Kang also went on stage to receive a prize for his beautiful Art work for CNY from Mr Bhim.
When the lion dance troop came. The excitement in the hall shot up. Throughout the whole performance, everyone couldn't take their eyes off the two lions.
There was also an exchange of oranges between individual students and the teacher.
It was definitely a memorable day!

Here's a Happy Chinese New Year to all and wishing everyone 身体健康!学业进步!万事如意!
(Stay healthy! Have progress in studies! Smooth sailing for everything!)

Last week our class had fun playing different roles inspired by our English book "Fearless Phil".
The different groups had discussions to decide on the animals they want to choose.
Then using the masks they made, the different groups interacted with the class by playing the roles they had chosen.
