The first one was a talk on Life Cycles. Specimens of many different types of animals were on display.
Next, we went to the Fragile Forest for a "Behind-the-Scene" program. We saw butterflies, caterpillars, pupae, mice, spiders, giant millipede etc.
Along the way, we also saw some animals in their exhibits.
Skull of an elephant
Rhino Beetle
Look at the thickness of an ostrich egg shell
It's snack time!
Can you see how much rainfall does Singapore get yearly?
Our primary rainforest.
The importance of mangroves.
Orang Utans are resting
Tree Nymph Butterfly on Ixora
Winne passed the butterfly gently to Karl Brian.
Dylan looking carefully at the buttefly.
Song Yao fascinated by the butterfly.
Aiman giving it a try too!
Audrey showing what she has.
Jarel seems unhappy to hold the butterfly. =p
Yong Liang holding the buttefly.
What are those white spots? Yes! They are butterfly eggs.
We all had a lot fun at the Singapore Zoo and i hope we could have another exciting Learning Journey.
